Job summary

A leading power solutions company in Ohio is seeking a Generator Technician for their Power Systems Division. In this role, you'll service customer generators, perform maintenance, and maintain inventory. Candidates should have prior generator experience and strong troubleshooting skills. Qualifications

• Prior Generator Experience highly preferred.
• Military, EGSA, or factory certification highly desirable.
• Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens.

• Ability to comprehend and troubleshoot from wiring schematics.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Servicing customer generators, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Performing maintenance on automatic transfer switches.
• Maintaining parts inventory on the service truck.

• Providing recommendations to customers for needed repair work

Buckeye Power Sales is a growth-oriented company seeking a Generator Technician for our Power Systems Division. Buckeye Power Sales has been providing on-site power solutions for businesses, contractors, engineers, municipalities and homeowners since 1947, which makes us the oldest Rehlko (formerly Kohler) generator distributor in the country. We are also a distributor of Siemens Energy engines and generators for a wide range of power generation applications such as combined heat and power, waste to power, prime, and continuous. Responsibilities

• Servicing customer generators, including troubleshooting, repair, Planned Maintenance Services and start-ups
• Performing maintenance on automatic transfer switches
• Processing required paperwork
• Maintaining parts inventory on the service truck
• Care, cleanliness and upkeep of truck maintenance
• Providing recommendations to customers for needed repair work

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and ability to meet and maintain company insurance criteria
• DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain)
• Prior Generator Experience highly preferred
• Military, EGSA, or factory certification highly desirable
• Ability to comprehend and troubleshoot from wiring schematics
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
• Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens
