Job summary

F.H. Furr Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical seeks a Generator Technician to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair residential standby generator systems. The candidate should have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and enjoy helping homeowners with backup power solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Generator Technician or related field service role
Experience installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing residential standby generators
Ability to explain technical information clearly to homeowners
Valid driver's license is required (21+ age)

Responsibilities

Install residential standby generator systems per manufacturer specs and local codes
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, fuel system, and operation issues
Perform startup, commissioning, and performance testing of new installations
Educate homeowners on generator operation, maintenance, and service options
