Job summary

Dipple Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a skilled Generator Technician to service residential generators, diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure reliable power for customers. You will work on diesel, natural gas, and propane units, inspect electrical panels, and document work in ServiceTitan.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of generator experience with residential systems.
• Valid tech ID with Generac preferred.
• Experience managing a fleet vehicle and inventory.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety procedures.
• Strong customer service skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair diesel, natural gas, and propane generators.
• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, electrical systems, panels, and transfer switches.
• Test newly installed generators and resolve issues on site.
• Document work in ServiceTitan to keep operations smooth.
• Pursue relevant certifications; company supports growth.
• Own your route and represent the company professionally.

Compensation:

• $50,000 - $100,000+/yr

What YOU Will Do:

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair diesel, natural gas, and propane generators to ensure reliable performance and compliance with safety standards
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and diagnostics on engines, electrical systems, control panels, and transfer switches to minimize downtime
• Test newly-installed generators to ensure proper function and resolve issues on the spot
• Document your work in our trade software, ServiceTitan, to keep your day running smooth
• Pursue certifications if needed – we invest in people who are willing to invest in themselves
• Own your route and represent Pioneer with professionalism

What We Need from YOU:

• 3+ years of experience with generators
• Valid tech ID with Generac (preferred)
• Experience managing a fleet vehicle and product inventory
• Knowledge of the electrical codes and safety procedures
• Must pass motor vehicle & background check and drug screen
• Superb customer service skills, honest, dependable, and reliable
• Physical dexterity
