Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair diesel, natural gas, and propane generators.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and diagnostics on engines, electrical systems, control panels, and transfer switches.
• Test newly-installed generators to ensure proper function and resolve issues on the spot.
• Document work in ServiceTitan trade software.
• Pursue certifications if needed.
• Own route and represent the company professionally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with generators.
• Valid Generac technician ID preferred.
• Experience managing a fleet vehicle and product inventory.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety procedures.
• Must pass motor vehicle & background check and drug screen.
• Superb customer service skills.
• Physical dexterity.
