Job summary

Energy Systems in Bend, OR seeks an experienced EPSS service technician to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on Generac generators. You will support emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment commissioning in an industrial setting.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of EPSS experience, strong schematic-reading skills, and a valid driver license. Generac certification is preferred and can be pursued after hire.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4+ years servicing and troubleshooting EPSS; knowledge of engines and generators.
  • Strong ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and manuals.
  • Must hold a valid driver license and be able to obtain Generac certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of generators.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during and after hours, weekends and holidays as directed.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on generators.
  • Read and interpret operation manuals, schematics and field orders for maintenance.
  • Create reports for all work performed in FieldServio and communicate findings.
  • Conduct equipment commissioning for industrial and MPS products.
  • Stay current on NFPA and state regulations for EPSS.
