Generac is seeking a skilled technician in Oshkosh, WI, to perform technical tasks including troubleshooting and repair of generators. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience servicing Emergency Power Supply Systems, alongside a High School Diploma.
You will be responsible for emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance, and communicating findings effectively within the team. A valid driver license is required, and candidates with an Associate degree in engineering are preferred.

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, bend, and reach above shoulders. Hands must be used to manipulate objects, tools or controls, and tasks require hearing and speech. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception. The employee will work in a manufacturing environment with typical seasonal temperature variations and occasional exposure to manufacturing fumes or byproducts. PPE requirements include safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing, shields, and closed‑toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies. The employee must be able to work in varying weather conditions including extreme heat, snow, and ice. The employee may be required to obtain a DOT Medical Card and drive a heavy‑duty truck on a daily basis.
