Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Mankato, MN is seeking an Assembler 1 to join our Power Systems manufacturing team. You will assemble generator sets and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools, following drawings and work instructions.

Basic requirements include a high school diploma or GED and legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. We offer a full-time position with opportunities to cross-train across areas and to contribute to safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• We cannot sponsor work visas at this time.
• Preferred: basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment recommended.
• Ability to perform repetitive manufacturing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble generator sets and sub-assemblies per work instructions.
• Use hand and power tools and follow quality and procedural techniques.
• Recognize defective parts and maintain safety, environmental and company procedures; contribute to continuous improvement.
• Crosstrain and assist in multiple assembly areas as needed.
