Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Mankato, MN is seeking an Assembler 1 to join our Power Systems manufacturing team. You will assemble generator sets and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools, following drawings and work instructions.

Basic requirements include a high school diploma or GED and legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. We offer a full-time position with opportunities to cross-train across areas and to contribute to safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

Position Summary

As the Assembler, you will assemble generator sets and sub-assemblies that include both standard and non-standard product lines. Assemblers will use hand and power tools and following quality and procedural techniques.

What you will be doing

Perform basic assembly duties using work instructions, drawings, and schematics in designated work areas. Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship and general quality. Continuously develop product knowledge and adapt to process changes. Crosstrain and assist in multiple assembly areas as needed. Follow safety, environmental, and company procedures; contribute to departmental continuous improvement.

Basic Requirements

Preferred Requirements

Preferred Requirements: Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools. Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Basic ability to perform repetitive manufacturing tasks. Capable of solving practical problems and adapting to changing technology.

Pay Range

Pay Range Pay ranges for remote employees are based on the state where the employee resides and may vary from the posted range. $20.46 - $30.68-Hourly Location: Mankato, MN
