Job summary

Mountain Home Services is seeking a Generator Service Technician to perform annual PM services on customer generators, diagnose and repair units, and troubleshoot on-site. The role requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to read diagrams, with on-going training opportunities.

Responsibilities include driving to sites, maintaining equipment, and delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic, on-site work environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read one-line diagrams or schematics.
• 1+ years of mechanical-related duties (oil changes, small engine work).
• Generac training is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather tools and supplies to be used at the work site.
• Drive to work sites via company vehicle.
• Perform annual service, diagnostic and warranty repairs on generators.
• PM includes oil changes, battery maintenance, valve adjustments, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain tools/equipment and keep supplies/parts organized.
• Clean work area and dispose of excess materials and waste.
