Job summary

Power Plus is seeking a highly skilled Generator Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and test gensets from 5 kW to 4000 kW in the Baltimore, MD area. You will provide best-in-class service while engaging with customers and following established procedures.

Qualified candidates have mechanical and electrical aptitude, technical schooling or related training, and are willing to work varying shifts with on-call pager rotations.

Qualifications

• Diesel generator experience preferred.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Willingness to travel and work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and test generator systems 5kW–4000kW.
• Interact with customers.
• Fill out paperwork accurately.
• Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
