Power Plus in the United States is seeking a Generator Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test generators from 5 kW to 4000 kW, delivering best-in-class service to customers.

Qualified candidates have mechanical and electrical aptitude with diesel generator experience, technical schooling in automotive, transportation, or electrical fields, and the ability to work varied shifts; OSHA safety rules apply and on-call rotations are possible.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with diesel generator experience.
• Technical schooling in automotive, transportation, electrical fields, or like military experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and use new technologies.
• Able to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations; travel/or overnight stays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and test 5 kW - 4000 kW generator systems.
• Interact with customers and properly complete paperwork.
• Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
