Power Plus in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Generator Service Technician with 5+ years of diesel generator experience to install, troubleshoot, and service generator systems from 5 kW to 4000 kW.

You will interact with customers, read technical manuals and schematics, and accurately complete paperwork while maintaining OSHA safety standards. A strong mechanical and electrical background and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Diesel generators experience in the 5 kW–4000 kW range preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude in related fields.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and test 5kW–4000kW generator systems.
• Interact with customers and document work performed.
• Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
