Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Orlando to lead the development and refinement of maintenance processes for generator fleets. You will provide on-site technical leadership, optimize safety, quality, and scheduling, and collaborate with District Service Offices during outages.

  • Strong skills in process optimization, project management, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willing to travel 30% domestically and internationally.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Your work will optimize safety, quality, and scheduling, ensuring every outage is executed flawlessly. From developing training for technicians and engineers on specialized equipment to collaborating with District Service Offices on outage planning, you'll make a direct impact on Siemens Energy's mission to deliver reliable, sustainable energy.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, or related technical field.
  • Up to 2 or more years of field service, power generation, or related engineering experience; prior knowledge of Siemens Energy equipment and processes is a plus.
  • Strong skills in process optimization, project management, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication abilities, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptable to learning new tools.
  • Willing to travel 30% domestically and internationally.
