Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Generator Mechanic for a leading equipment solutions provider. The role offers $30-$45 per hour, great benefits, flexible hours and room for growth in a dynamic field serving diesel and gas power systems.

Ideal candidates read electrical schematics, manage balance of plant equipment, and provide strong customer service while maintaining safety standards. 21+ with a valid license and 3+ years field experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel and natural gas engines, electrical switchgear, ATS, and balance of plant equipment.
• Strong understanding of power generation systems, power electronics, electronic controls, and fuel systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with high responsiveness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with driving qualification standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working with diesel and natural gas engines, electrical switchgear, automatic transfer switches, and balance of plant equipment.


• Strong understanding of power generation systems, power electronics, electronic controls, and fuel systems.


• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
