Job summary

Generac is seeking electricians to join its dealer network, performing installation, maintenance, and repair of home standby generators. You will diagnose and repair electrical systems, read blueprints, and work on residential service calls, either independently or as part of a crew. A valid license and reliable transportation are required.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and delivering timely solutions to customers as part of Generac’s growing energy-management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• 2+ years of experience as an electrician in the power industry.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and preventative maintenance on generators.
• Diagnostics and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems on generators.
• Involved in installation hook-up of home standby generators.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete residential service calls, troubleshoot electrical issues, and provide timely solutions to customers.
• Assume additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company.
