Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Stator Assembler B to support final generator assembly. You will work with rotor to core assembly, bearings, pedestals and related components, using grinders, sanders, drills, ratchets, and wrenches to complete tasks accurately.

You will lift up to 50 lbs, read measurements, and document results with simple forms. A high school diploma and 4+ years of industrial-mechanical experience are preferred, with licenses for fork truck/crane required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of industrial-mechanical experience.
• Proficiency with various shop tools and the ability to choose the right tool for the job.
• Capability to lift/move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and complete simple forms, along with basic math skills.
• Successful candidates must pass hearing and vision tests.
• Must be able to obtain a fork truck and crane license.

Responsibilities

• Attain skills in rotor to core assembly, bearings, pedestals, and all other generator components.
• Utilize shop tools to select the optimal tool for each task.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Employ precision measuring equipment to ensure accuracy in work.
• Complete simple forms and perform basic math tasks to support assembly documentation.
