Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair, service, and commission diesel and gas gensets on customer sites in Tipton, MO. You will operate MEG service trucks, perform field inspections, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, and complete tune-ups.

You will troubleshoot AC/DC controls, document work, travel as required, and participate in after-hours emergency service. Strong safety practices and customer-focused communication are essential; a minimum of 2

Qualifications

• High school diploma or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience or a related industry preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Experience with generator sets, diesel engines, and controls.
• Ability to operate MEG service trucks and follow safety policies.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair, service, and commissioning diesel and gas gensets.
• Perform field inspections and diagnose generator condition.
• Identify and repair electrical and mechanical problems.
• Complete tune-ups and engine service.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC controls and equipment like AVR, ATS, switchgear.
• Accurately document services performed.
• Travel to customer sites; provide after-hours emergency service.
