Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems in the Northeast is seeking Field Service Technicians to service standby generator systems ranging from 8kW to 1MW. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on engines and electrical systems, often at customer sites, with an emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience with standby generator systems (8kW–1MW) and related engines/electricals.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on generator systems.
• Customer-facing role requiring clear communication and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW–1MW).
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, load-bank test, and start-up generators.
• Prepare accurate quotes for repairs and submit work orders.
• Work with residential or industrial generators.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service.
• Participate in an on-call rotating schedule.
