Job summary

Ring Power Corporation is seeking a Service Field Tech II to diagnose and repair customer and company equipment, adhering to safety and environmental policies. You will disassemble and reassemble components to spec, maintain tools, document work, and monitor costs.

Training, mentorship, and teamwork are emphasized in a dynamic shop floor. Required are a High School diploma or GED, 3-4 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and completion of required training to attain Tech II status.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in service field.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Must complete required training curriculum to be designated Service Field Tech II.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer's specifications.
• Maintain necessary set of tools and uphold safety and environmental policies.
• Document repairs using appropriate software and track repair times.
• Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and report cost overruns to supervisor.
• Train and mentor others in the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
