Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a general fabrication and assembly support role to assist energy systems sales, service, rental, and construction departments. You will perform welding and sheet metal work, install various system components, and collaborate with project management to estimate modifications.

The candidate should have 2 years welding or fabrication experience, with Mig/Tig/Stick proficiency, and valid driver’s license. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2 years welding or fabrication in field work or shop work.

Responsibilities

• Provide fabrication and assembly support to complete customer orders.
• Install vent extensions, spill boxes on generators.
• Install DPF systems & load bank systems on generators.
• Work with project management team to spec modification estimates.
