Job summary

Taylor Machine Works is seeking an Electrical Assembler for Clinton, MS. You will build wiring harnesses, install panels, and read schematics to produce generator sets with interconnects such as transfer switches and monitoring systems.

Responsibilities include assembling components in enclosures, labeling and wiring sub-panels, and testing assemblies with Engineering support. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and precise workmanship on a day shift.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience and ability to read diagrams and schematics.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, wiring and component installation.
• Power generation experience is a plus.
• Good problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
• Able to use a multimeter and electrical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wiring harnesses and panels, read schematics and use test equipment.
• Assemble electronic components in sub-panels and mount in enclosures.
• Ensure fit of components and enclosures per design.
• Wire, label sub-panels and interconnect per electrical schematics.
• Mount components and interconnect with equipment per specs.
• Evaluate components for safety, operation and serviceability.
• Coordinate with Engineering to fit parts and assembly.
• Test electrical assemblies during production and consult with Engineering.
