Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, optimize, and troubleshoot electrical systems for generator products. You will collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure performance, safety, and reliability while documenting designs and maintaining CAD drawings.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 0–5 years of experience in electrical design, testing, manufacturing support, or power systems engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, Autodesk Inventor, ETAP, or similar electrical design software.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, wiring diagrams, and power distribution.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, and maintain electrical systems for generator products.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control drawings, and technical documentation using CAD software.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineers to integrate electrical systems into new and existing generator designs.
• Support production and assembly operations by troubleshooting electrical issues and providing timely technical solutions.
• Perform root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies to resolve product and manufacturing issues.
• Develop, implement, and document engineering changes while maintaining revision control and engineering documentation.
