Job summary

The Gund Company in Amsterdam, NY is seeking a Product Applications Engineer - Generator to support generator market applications, assist customers with engineered solutions, and bridge customer needs with product development.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and travel up to 25-50%. The position is based at our corporate HQ in St. Louis, MO but the posting references Amsterdam, NY operations and relocation considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
• 1-3 years of engineering, applications engineering, product engineering, or technical sales experience.
• Ability to understand customer’s application requirements and translate that into internal capability development.
• Position is subject to ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for customer applications and communicate how our products meet customer requirements.
• Support new product development projects from research through planning and implementation.
• Develop marketing content and technical materials to promote our expertise.
