Kelly Generator & Equipment, Inc. (KGE) has been the mid-Atlantic distributor for Generac Power Systems (GPS) for over 30 years. GPS has been in the manufacturing business over 60 years. • Junior Sales Engineer base salary: $50,000 - $60,000 plus uncapped commissions.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Provide quotes for 150kW Generac generators and below.
• Manage a large volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Prepare cost estimates with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
• Provide technical and engineering information to both clients and contractors.
• Analyze cost-benefit ratios for equipment, supplies or service applications; engineer or propose changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials and/or services.
• Contribute to sales engineering by identifying short-term and long-range issues; provide information relevant to deliberations; recommend options and courses of action; implement directives.

Requirements

Education / Experience

• B.S. in Electrical, Application, Mechanical or Power Generation and/or 3-5 years of previous industrial sales or product training experience with electric equipment, preferably generators, switch gear or building management systems.
• Minimum 1-year B2B sales experience.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
