Job summary

Scale in San Francisco seeks a Quality Control Lead to own data quality for high-impact Generative AI programs. You will lead a large team of quality specialists, hire and coach, and translate customer requirements into measurable data quality signals.

You’ll run the quality system daily, allocate capacity, report on quality and productivity, and drive policies. You’ll analyze trends and guide what to build next to scale quality operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, operations, or related field.
• 3+ years leading teams or scaling large operational/technical processes.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, especially in SQL.
• Experience building systems and teams across multiple customer segments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of quality specialists via hiring, coaching, and calibration.
• Translate unclear customer requirements into clear standards and measurable signals of data quality.
• Run the quality system: plan workforce, produce reports, measure productivity, drive policies.
• Analyze quality trends, identify root causes and elevate defect patterns.
• Help decide and lead what gets built next to scale quality operations.
