Job summary

Trellix in Frisco, TX is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and build a production-grade agentic AI platform powering our security products. This role demands 5+ years of Python software experience and a strong background in scalable, secure systems.

You’ll own end-to-end features, develop multi-agent workflows, and champion observability, reliability, and performance in high-stakes federal environments. Hybrid work ensures 3–4 days onsite.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python application software development and production AI or platform systems.
• Proficiency with Linux and shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, REST/async APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop our generative AI platform powering security products and agentic workflows.
• Own end-to-end features from design through testing, automation, and production operations.
• Build, iterate, and harden multi-agent pipelines, tool use, and inter-agent coordination for security operations.
• Ensure resilience, security, and observability with instrumentation and dashboards.
