Job summary

The Cigna Group’s Technology Development Program Summer Internship invites aspiring technologists to explore AI-driven healthcare solutions in a 12-week program. You’ll work on impactful AI projects, receive training, and gain mentorship to accelerate your career in technology.

You will learn through hands-on projects, cross-functional collaboration, and a structured curriculum designed to develop technical and leadership capabilities for future roles in the health tech space.

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on machine learning methodologies and applications.
• Foundational understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, with experience applying them through coursework, projects, research, or prior experience.
• Working knowledge of Python and exposure to machine learning or generative AI libraries and frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or similar tools.
• Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization using tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib to prepare data sets for model training.
