The Cigna Group is offering its Technology Development Program Software Engineering Summer Internship for a 12-week summer rotation in Minnesota. You’ll design, build, and deliver scalable applications while receiving structured training and mentorship to accelerate your technologist growth.

Participants gain exposure to frontend, backend, and cloud concepts, with collaborative projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Relevant coursework, projects, internships, or open-source contributions.
• Foundational proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
• Exposure to front-end, back-end, full-stack, APIs, databases, cloud, testing, and version control concepts.
• Familiarity with Git and agile, collaborative development practices.
• Interest in generative AI tools used in software development is preferred.
• GPA of 3.3 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities
