Job summary

KPMG is seeking an AI Engineer to join our Audit Technology Alliance. The role focuses on building AI features, RAG pipelines, and scalable AI microservices in a collaborative, agile environment.

Responsibilities include designing AI agents, ensuring code quality with tests and reviews, and integrating with Azure services. A strong background in Python and cloud/container tech is required, with visa sponsorship not provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering with AI/data-intensive apps.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Proficient in Python; familiar with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
• Experienced with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud; Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of clear technical communication and teamwork.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement core components of generative AI solutions; build robust, scalable features.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers on AI agents and orchestration design.
• Ensure code quality by writing unit tests, code reviews, and using evaluation frameworks.
• Develop RAG pipelines, context engineering, and integrations with Azure AI Search and Databricks.
• Deploy and maintain AI microservices optimizing performance and scalability.
• Engage in agile development processes including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
