Job summary

KPMG LLP is hiring an AI Architect to join the Audit Technology Alliance. You will lead architectural design and strategy for our generative AI platform and mentor a team of engineers, guiding multiple squads through implementation with a focus on scalable, auditable AI solutions.

You will collaborate with data scientists and product leaders to translate objectives into concrete blueprints, ensure high-quality outputs, and drive adoption of advanced evaluation frameworks.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering and architecture, leading complex data-intensive AI systems in an enterprise
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in CS/Engineering or related field
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in future

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and technical strategy for major components of our generative AI platform
• Partner with senior managers, product leaders, and data scientists to translate objectives into architectural blueprints
• Drive adoption of engineering standards and AI evaluation frameworks like LangSmith
• Spearhead technical solutioning for complex challenges, including AKS with KEDA and LangGraph
• Mentor associate architects and engineers, promoting technical excellence
• Own a significant portion of the technology roadmap and explore cutting-edge AI agent patterns
