Job Title: Generative AI Consultant – PLM Domain

Location: NYC, NY (Tentative)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Generative AI Consultant with strong expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems to lead AI-driven transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between advanced AI technologies and PLM processes, helping organizations innovate, optimize, and future-proof their product development cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current PLM workflows and identify opportunities for AI/ML integration.
• Design and implement Gen-AI solutions to automate and enhance PLM functions (e.g., product design, BOM management, change control).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, PLM engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Develop custom Gen-AI models or integrate existing tools (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, LLMs) into PLM environments.
• Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) projects and scale successful prototypes.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met.
• Provide technical training and documentation for internal teams.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA).
• 2+ years of experience working with Generative AI/LLM technologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and APIs (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI API).
• Solid understanding of digital threads, digital twins, and product data management.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace sectors.
• Strong communication and consulting skills.
