Job summary

Ryerson is currently seeking General Warehouse Operators (2nd and 3rd shift) to join our Operations team in the Commerce City market.

As a General Warehouse Operator you will be responsible for:

• Accurately picking metal materials by matching numbers and product description
• Breaking down bulk bundles for customer specific orders
• Accurately complete paperwork and work order confirmation on computer
• Move and stage materials using overhead crane and sit-down or side loader forklift
• Load / Unload trucks
• Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervision

Shift

• 2nd Shift, Mon-Fri starting at 2:30 p.m.
• 3rd Shift, Sun-Fri starting at 10:00 p.m

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1 year of similar job experience is needed
• Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer
• Physical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, mobility and lifting requirements.
• Successful completion of the Ramsay Corporation Combined Basic Skills Assessment which evaluates your reading, math, inspection & measurement, and process monitoring & problem-solving skills

Pay: $24.69/HR paid weekly per union contract
