The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs throughout hotel guest rooms and designated areas to ensure all facilities are safe, fully operational, well-maintained, and guest-ready.
This is a highly visible position with frequent guest interaction. The General Maintenance Technician must consistently demonstrate professionalism, reliability, strong communication skills, and exceptional customer service while responding to maintenance requests and addressing guest concerns.
The General Maintenance Technician must be able to perform the physical duties associated with general hotel maintenance, including walking and standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and performing repairs in guest rooms and other hotel areas.
The position may require working in occupied guest rooms and interacting directly with guests while completing maintenance and repair activities.
