Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Beaumont, TX is seeking a part-time registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a clinical setting. The role requires independent practice, adherence to ANA standards, and the ability to delegate appropriately to other care providers as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) and at least 1 year of related nursing experience. A current RN license in Texas and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Addresses complex psychosocial needs of patients and families within scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Meet OneCHRISTUS competency expectations: Leader of Self/Others/Leaders.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications and care provided.
• Assess learning needs; educate patients, families, and caregivers.
