Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support in Phoenix, AZ. Start date ASAP. Shifts include 10- to 12-hour weekday coverage and on-call weekends for outpatient clinic, operating room, or endoscopy coverage.

Qualifications include Board Certified or Board Eligible, ACLS and BLS, and an active unrestricted state license. EMR RPMS experience is preferred; credentialing typically 45–60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide general surgery coverage for outpatient clinic, OR and endoscopy.

This facility is seeking a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity

• Schedule: Variable weekday shifts, typically 10-hour shifts, for outpatient clinic, operating room, or endoscopy coverage (weekday, weekend, and 24-hour call is required)
• Practice Setting: Mix of both inpatient and outpatient
• Types of Cases: General surgery cases (provider must have experience with Breast Surgery)
• Credentialing Timeframe: 45 – 60 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): RPMS
• Certifications Required: Board Certified or Board Eligible, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and a Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Licensure Required: Any active unrestricted state license
