Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support in Pueblo, Colorado. The on-call schedule includes 24-hour shifts at an Emergency Room Trauma Level III center.

Responsibilities include performing trauma surgeries when needed, assisting in transfers, central line placements, admitting patients as requested by the ED, and maintaining patient care during the shift. Credentialing is expected in about 30 days, with malpractice insurance and travel coordination provided

Qualifications

• Required procedures include serving on call for trauma surgery at a Level III trauma center and coordinating with the ED for transfers and patient admissions.
• Experience with trauma assessment and central line placements is beneficial.
