American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Physician for locum tenens support in Pueblo, CO. The assignment involves 24-hour call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM and practice in an inpatient Level Three trauma hospital with general orthopedic and trauma procedures.

Candidates must be board certified in Orthopedic Surgery, hold an active Colorado license or IMLC, and have current BLS, ACLS, and DEA registration.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA registration required.
• Active Colorado medical license or IMLC qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM).
• Perform general orthopedic surgery and trauma procedures.
• Assist with credentialing and temporary privileges as needed.

• Schedule: Twenty-four hour call, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Practice Setting: Inpatient Level Three trauma hospital
• Types of Cases: General orthopedic surgery, trauma call, orthopedic emergency procedures
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days, emergency temporary privileges available
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic
• Certifications Required: Board Certification, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Drug Enforcement Administration registration
• Licensure Required: Active Colorado medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification
