Job summary

AMN Healthcare is assisting a Colorado facility by sourcing a General Surgery physician for locum tenens coverage. The 24-hour call schedule runs from 7am to 7am, with inpatient, ER and Level III trauma coverage, performing standard general surgery procedures under Epic EMR.

The ideal candidate is board-certified or truly board-eligible in General Surgery, has an active Colorado license or IMLC, and ATLS. Credentialing is expected within 30 days, with malpractice insurance arranged by AMN and

• Board-certified or truly board-eligible in General Surgery.
• ATLS certification is required.
• Active Colorado medical license or IMLC is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage (7a–7a).
• Perform standard General Surgery procedures in inpatient, ER, and Level III trauma settings.
