Job summary

Skagit Regional Health is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its busy General Surgery department at our Mount Vernon campus. You will participate in outpatient clinic visits, inpatient rounding, and surgical case assistance across the hospital and ambulatory surgery center.

The role offers a generous compensation package and built-in referral base. The ideal candidate has a Master’s in PA studies, 2–4 years surgical experience (new grads welcome), and an active Washington license

Qualifications

Highlights

• Join a collaborative acute and elective surgical team of nine (9) physicians and six (6) PAs, along with an experienced support staff.
• Responsibilities include seeing patients in the outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and assisting in our inpatient and outpatient Operating Rooms. Clinic, hospital, and Ambulatory Surgery Center all located on the same campus. Our surgeons have a broad practice, allowing you to assist on a variety of surgical cases.
• 4-day schedule with shared weeknight/weekend call of 1:8.
• This is a full time, hospital employed position with a large built in referral base.
• Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
• 2-4 years of surgical experience is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply!
• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.

Compensation And Benefits

• Salary Range: $135,737 - $154,017 DOE
