Job summary

Skagit Regional Health invites family medicine physicians to join clinic locations in Mount Vernon, Granite Falls, or Arlington. We offer outpatient only, weekday schedule with potential 4-day week, hospital-employed with access to wide specialty referrals and EPIC EMR.

Providers care for a mix of chronic and acute patients across lifespan; 36-hour patient contact per week; supportive team with MAs, nurses, and other staff; comprehensive benefits including relocation, CME allowance, and tail

Qualifications

  • Graduates from an ACGME accredited residency program.
  • Board eligible or board certified.
  • 2–3 years of experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
  • Active Washington State license or ability to obtain before start.
  • Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.
  • The ideal candidate will place a priority on improving lives through compassionate and innovative healthcare and focus on building lasting relationships with their patients as well as strong ties within the community

Highlights
  • Thrive in team-oriented environments with providers, MAs, nurses, and other support staff.
  • Monday-Friday outpatient only schedule, with some potential extended hours. Opportunity to work a 4-day work week.
  • Our providers see a good mix of chronic and acute patients across the lifespan. Basic in office procedures performed in clinic, based on provider comfort level and preference.
  • Light phone call rotations of clinic phone call only. Our acute care hospitals are staffed with Hospitalists to handle any inpatient coverage.
  • This is a full-time position with a 36-hour patient contact hour work expectation.
  • This is a hospital employed position with access to a large, existing in house specialty care referral base.
  • Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization with newly implemented ambient AI technology (Abridge) available.
Qualifications

  • First year salary guarantee: $313,924

  • Skagit Regional Health is an integrated health system with a growing staff of over 3,000, including a medical staff of over 600, and is comprised of 2 acute care hospitals and roughly 30 outpatient clinics in over 25 medical specialties.   • Skagit Valley Hospital is a licensed 137-bed facility with a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital features a full range of services including the latest surgery techniques, including multiple surgical robots; renal dialysis; a well-appointed Family Birth Center; compressive diagnostic imaging and an advanced heart and vascular institute with the only cardiac catheterization labs in the area.
  • Cascade Valley Hospital is licensed for 48 beds with a Level IV Trauma Center and a Level II Nursery. The hospital features a full range of services including acute care, critical care, and general surgery. The facility also offers a number of support services such as an in-house laboratory, rehabilitation program, and comprehensive diagnostic imaging.
