University of Pittsburgh Physicians is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant to support General Surgery across UPMC McKeesport and Monroeville locations. The APP will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with one on-call weekend per month.

This role covers inpatient, outpatient, clinic, and surgical experiences, with a collaborative team of four physicians and four APPs. Join a busy but varied practice that provides ample case mix and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Applies basic professional practice knowledge; communicates effectively, documents care, and supports patient safety.
• Collaborates with physicians and the care team to plan and deliver patient care across care settings.
• Builds and maintains relationships with patients, families and colleagues to achieve desired outcomes.
• Demonstrates accountability for professional development and continuous learning in a busy department.
