Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Indian River is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join our inpatient General Surgery team. The APP will work closely with our surgeons to deliver high-quality surgical care, including rounds, admissions, and discharge planning.

The role requires NP/PA certification, strong collaboration, and the ability to assist in the operating room. Schedule is typically 7:00am-5:00pm with on-call rotations; Florida license for APRN/PA is expected.

Qualifications

• APRN/PA credentialing with state licensure in Florida.
• Experience in inpatient general surgery settings preferred.
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and surgeons.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on inpatient consults and post-operative follow-ups.
• Managing patient admissions and discharges.
• Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans.
• First assisting in the operating room.
