Job summary

Intermountain Health in Brighton, CO seeks a General Surgeon to join a collegial team serving a Level III trauma center. You will perform a broad range of general, acute care, and trauma procedures with strong support resources and a 1:4 call rotation.

Requirements include an MD/DO, ACGME residency, board eligibility/certification, ATLS/ACLS, and a Colorado medical license. Relocation and signing bonus are offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years post-training general surgery experience.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME Residency in General Surgery.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
• ATLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Active Colorado medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health credentialing process.

Responsibilities

• Handle trauma activations within a Level III Trauma Center.
• Provide surgical coverage for the hospital and emergency department.
• Independently address urgent surgical needs.
• Support trauma handoffs and inpatient care.
