Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Orlando, FL is hiring General Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers full-time or part-time schedules with a no-call lifestyle and the opportunity to practice surgical skills in a less corporate setting.

As a General Surgeon you will perform debridement and bedside procedures, evaluate chronic wounds, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
