Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Knoxville, TN is seeking General Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. The role offers a no-call Monday–Friday schedule with full- or part-time options and generous earning potential.

You will perform wound-related procedures, maintain surgical skills, and operate with clinical autonomy in a supportive, physician-led group.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background; no prior wound-care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of daily practice.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
