Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Sacramento, CA is seeking a General Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. This no-call, Monday–Friday role offers part-time or full-time options with a high-impact surgical career outside the corporate hospital setting.

You will perform debridement, bedside procedures, and manage complex wounds using advanced dressings and protocols, while enjoying clinical autonomy and reduced admin time through our custom software.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license: required or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
