The role includes teaching medical students, residents and fellows, participating in patient care and a vibrant research program, and developing a Hernia Center of Excellence within ECU Health.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Advanced training in Hernia and Complex Abdominal Wall Reconstruction.
• MD or DO degree with ECFMG certification for foreign-trained applicants.

Responsibilities

• Join ECU Health Physicians in the Division of General and Specialty Surgery as General Surgeon with Hernia/abdominal reconstruction focus.
• Mentor and teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Contribute to clinical care, teaching and research programs in a busy academic surgical department.
