Job summary

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a General Surgeon for a mobile wound care role in the Dothan, AL area. The position offers a 7 am–4 pm schedule, with options for full-time or part-time work across a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.

Responsibilities include bedside wound care in post-acute facilities, weekly wound rounds, and real-time documentation using our EMR. A physician fellowship in wound care and paid training are provided.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the practicing state.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• No nights, no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at facilities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver wound management at the bedside.
