Job summary

University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health (UMUCH), a member of UMMS, has an opening for a full-time Surgeon to support the General Surgery program. Based at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD, the team includes 4 general surgeons (1 Colorectal/General Surgery) and 2 Bariatric/General Surgery physicians with 3 PAs.

Workdays are Monday through Friday with a very manageable call rotation and strong hospital/office support, including EPIC.

Qualifications

• Maryland medical license required
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in general surgery

Position will join a group of 4 general surgeons (1 Colorectal/General Surgery) and 2 Bariatric/General Surgery and 3 PAs.

Minimally Invasive & Robotically Trained1 in 7 Call SchedulePosition is based on the campus of Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD.

Ideal work environment Monday through Friday day shift, with a very manageable call rotation shared among other providers, fostering a healthy work/life balance!Excellent hospital administration support as well as dedicated in office support staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment. Provision of elbow-to-elbow EPIC support.

Work Experience

Maryland medical license Board Eligible or Board Certified in the area of specialty
