GPAC is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale heavy civil construction projects in the region. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in heavy civil construction with USACE project background and expertise in soil cement and large earthwork.

Responsibilities include coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring schedules and safety standards, and mentoring future superintendents while driving productivity with GPS-enabled grading.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Heavy Civil or General Superintendent.
• Experience on projects valued at $25M or greater.
• Strong USACE project background.
• Experience with soil cement and large earthwork.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of heavy civil construction experience with a strong background in U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects, soil cement, and large earthwork operations. Our projects include highways, bridges, power plants, dams, reservoirs, underground utilities, flood control, and other major infrastructure improvements.

• Coordinate grading, mass excavation, embankment construction, underground utilities, soil stabilization, soil cement, and concrete operations.

• Experience on large civil infrastructure projects such as dams, reservoirs, levees, flood control, heavy highway, bridges, and underground utilities.
• Proficiency with GPS machine control and modern grading technology.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and large field teams in a fast-paced environment.
